Our Commitment to Free Literature
Every subscription to Classics Book Club helps preserve and share great literature
💚Our Pledge
100% of Classics Book Club net profits in 2025 and 2026 go to Project Gutenberg and the Project Gutenberg Literary Archive Foundation (PGLAF).
Beginning in 2027, we pledge 50% of our net profits from public domain character discussions to continue supporting this vital mission.
Why Project Gutenberg?
Project Gutenberg is the oldest digital library, offering over 70,000 free eBooks. Since 1971, they have been digitizing and preserving public domain works, making classic literature accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Classics Book Club is built on the foundation of this mission. Every character you discuss with—from Elizabeth Bennet to Jay Gatsby—comes from books that Project Gutenberg has painstakingly preserved and made freely available.
We believe in honoring that legacy. By subscribing to Classics Book Club, you are not just getting access to AI-powered literary discussions—you are helping ensure that future generations can discover these timeless stories.
